My Work

The Things I Like
Growing up, I had to read before doing anything I wanted to do. Thankfully, this was limited to playing outside or on the computer, so I didn't always have a book in my hand. I started small. 20 pages a day, and getting through a smaller book could be done in a week. It became a healthy habit all thanks to my parents' wisdom. Having to substitute books for school, I didn't get back into reading until I realized how wide the world of literature was. I fell in love with classics, self-help, and anything that would make me a better person after I closed the covers. I read until my questions were answered. Eventually, I had questions that weren't in books. I started to create worlds around ideas, hoping the characters would be the solvers of the problem. I used my stories as a way to see if I had the capability to keep the same composure as the heroes in my books. I wrote two of them. Lose and Ferrari and We Forgot Their Names. Now i'm writing my third and fourth books. In between, I ask more questions that I can solve with poems. I am also a nurse which is a job I love for the things it teaches me. Listening to others provides my patients and myself great comfort.
