Whispered Interests

Hiding behind corners

Leaving giggles as your trace

I feel your intention

But cant see your face

Hesitant to push forward

Hands never venture outside the lines

Color you with fingers

Torso and outside thighs

Touching a bad idea

Kissing a mistake

Lips never tasted sweeter

Bodies beautifully shake

I want you and I know why

I could touch you a million times

How could I ignore your open door

The hole in my heart doesn’t want love, it wants more

Empty we’d drift

Two breaths of wind we’d fly

Never holding on long enough

Okay with just passing by

Is it worth the feeling

A pumping heart leaking vital blood

I don’t want to waste our chemistry

Open eyes filled with lots of love

I would be using your windows

The trust you use to peer into my soul

A tool of all desire

A way to waste life without creating a home

Keep giggling when I can’t see you

Smell your perfume as you walk by

I need to mend my heart by appreciating beauty

Not fixing it with a tower of lies
